Diatomaceous earth (DE) is a naturally occurring mineral formed from the fossilised remains of tiny aquatic organisms called diatoms. Under a microscope each DE particle looks like a tiny cylindrical structure with a textured surface.

This unique structure has been studied for its ability to attract and trap certain organisms and particles within its cylindrical form, allowing them to be passed through the body during elimination. DE also has a natural absorption effect, which is why it is important to stay well hydrated when using it as it draws water in the gut alongside the particles it is binding to.

DE is rich in silica, a trace mineral that supports the structure of connective tissue, skin, hair and nails. This is why many people find Sweep and Bind beneficial beyond the cleanse period as an ongoing mineral support.

Each batch of our Sweep and Bind contains less than 0.5% crystallised silicon. This distinction matters. Products with higher crystallised silicon content carry greater safety concerns. Ours is food-grade, freshwater sourced and independently verified.

Sweep and Bind works best when used in cycles of 7 to 10 days on followed by 10 days off. This mirrors the same cyclical approach as our Para Protocol.

During a cleanse: Use daily throughout your 10-day protocol alongside the Para Protocol capsules for enhanced binder support.

Between protocols: Use as a standalone gentle cleanse support between your bi-annual Para Protocol rounds.

For children: Can be used as a standalone gentle cleanse option for children who are not yet old enough for the Kids Para Protocol tincture (under 6 years) or who need a very gentle introduction to cleansing.

Adults: Start with 1 teaspoon and work up to 2 heaped teaspoons daily.

Children 5 to 12 years: Half a teaspoon up to twice a day.

Children 18 months to 5 years: Quarter teaspoon up to twice a day followed by extra water throughout the day.

Mix thoroughly in water and drink immediately.
