The soak pads and the inner of the wrap that sits directly against your skin are both made from certified organic bamboo cotton. Bamboo cotton is naturally soft, highly absorbent and temperature regulating. It is free from bleach, synthetic fibres and the chemical treatments found in conventional cotton products.

A leakproof wrap that makes the ritual effortless.
The PUL outer layer of the wrap is completely leakproof, meaning no oil seeping through onto clothing or bedding. Slip it on, secure it comfortably and lie down without worrying about the mess that puts most people off trying castor oil packs.

A heat pack with no microwave needed
The included reusable click-activated heat pack uses a sodium acetate solution that heats instantly when the internal disc is clicked. Non-toxic, reusable and recharged simply by placing in boiling water for 10 to 15 minutes. No microwave needed and no single-use waste. Stays warm for up to 30 to 45 minutes which is the ideal window for a liver or abdominal pack session.

This kit was designed specifically for people who take their cleanse seriously. The liver is the primary organ responsible for filtering waste and the abdomen is where a cleanse does its most active work. Supporting both from the outside during your cleanse or detox amplifies your results and can ease die-off symptoms.

The castor oil pack is a traditional naturopathic practice that involves applying castor oil topically over the liver area on the right side of the abdomen just below the ribcage, or over the central abdomen for gut support. Warmth is applied over the top and the person rests quietly for 30 to 60 minutes.

Castor oil contains a high concentration of ricinoleic acid, an omega-9 fatty acid with deeply penetrating properties. Applied topically with warmth it absorbs into the skin and underlying tissue. Over the liver it supports circulation and lymphatic flow in the area during the cleanse period. Over the abdomen the warmth and ricinoleic acid work together to soothe the digestive tract, ease bloating and cramping and support comfort during the days when the gut is most active.

The click-activated heat pack works using a supersaturated sodium acetate solution. When the internal metal disc is clicked, the liquid rapidly crystallises and releases stored heat energy, warming to approximately 54 degrees Celsius in seconds. This is a safe comfortable warmth that sits over the pack during the session. The pack is recharged endlessly by placing in boiling water for 10 to 15 minutes until the crystals dissolve back to liquid.

The organic bamboo cotton soak pads absorb the castor oil evenly and hold it against the skin throughout the session. The PUL leakproof outer of the wrap keeps everything contained and mess-free so you can lie comfortably without protecting your clothing or bedding.

Care:
Soak pads: Hand wash in warm water. Air dry.
Wrap: Hand or machine wash on gentle cool cycle. Air dry. Do not tumble dry.
Heat pack: Recharge by submerging in gently boiling water for 10 to 15 minutes until all crystals dissolve. Cool to room temperature before next use. Do not microwave.

Cautions: For external use only. Do not apply the heat pack directly to bare skin without the wrap layer in between. If the heat pack feels too warm wrap in a small towel before placing over the pack. Keep out of reach of children. Not recommended during pregnancy without healthcare practitioner guidance.
